Hijacked festival is just around the corner. Tickets are sold out and the boys behind the scenes are racing to set the scene for a hi-octane summer smash. But, once again, they’ve taken the time to bring Exetera readers another exclusive taste of what we can expect later this month at the festival.
This week we present a mix from Xhosah (formerly known as 5imba), and while it’s true his new name is near-impossible to pronounce, his skills on the decks are as effortless as ever.
Let the stress of exams fade away as you bask in the sun, listening to this delicious mix.
Xhosah: ‘I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where I wanted this mix to go; what sort of mood to get across. After some thought I decided I wanted the first half to be tracks that reminded me of the first summer of Thick As Thieves. Some of the featured tracks will never let me forget the amazing times with a group of mates who turned Exeter’s nightlife around. This mix to me is reminiscent of past times with a little dose of what’s to come! I can’t explain how proud I am of the Hijacked boys and how excited I am for the festival.’
